Str8 Folks Sue The Gays in Austria

February 21st, 2010 by thefruitfly

This is fun. It proves how far the Progressives are in Europe and Americans are still Cave-Dwellers on the the topic of Same-Sex Marriage and Civil Unions:

A heterosexual couple in Austria is fighting for the right to enter into a registered civil partnership – introduced for homosexual couples in January 2010. Under current law the couple will be denied that right – but they have vowed to take the case to the country’s constitutional court to overturn what they says is a discriminatory legislation.

I’m hoked already: Hetero’s?  Whining about being in the minority?

Austria introduced civil unions for gay couples on January 1, affording them some of the rights enjoyed by their heterosexual counterparts. The new legislation, passed after weeks of wrangling between the ruling Social Democrats and their conservative coalition partner in government, gives same-sex couples a status similar to traditional marriage but different in a number of respects. For instance, there are less strict rules in the event of a divorce.

A gay coupleBildunterschrift: Großansicht des Bildes mit der Bildunterschrift: ‘The issue is equality – nothing but equality,’ the couple argues

The heterosexual couple in question argues that this is a more modern form of union – which simply suits them better than a traditional marriage. And if it’s offered to gay couples, why shouldn’t it be an option for them as well? The issue at stake, they argue, is standing up against discrimination.

“Everyone should have the same rights, and there shouldn’t be different rules for different people,” the couple’s lawyer, Helmut Graupner, told Deutsche Welle.

“Regardless of how many different forms of union a state provides to couples, all of those forms should be available for everyone and must not be restricted on the basis of race, class or sex or gender or other criteria, which are traditionally the very criteria for discrimination,” Graupner said.

I like it!  “Tittie-Chasers are on-the-run!”

A Little Bit “Equal”

“The issue is equality - nothing but equality,” Graupner said. “You can not be ‘a little bit equal.’ Just like you can’t be ‘a little bit pregnant’ or ‘a little bit dead.’ Unless you’re entitled to the same kind of institutions and forms of law you’re not being treated equally and that’s discriminatory. That’s what we are fighting against – we’re fighting for the rights of both heterosexuals and homosexuals.”

Graupner is not only trying to help the heterosexual couple to get a ‘gay’ marriage. He’s also representing gay couples who want a traditional marriage – rather than the registered civil partnership that lawmakers have agreed on. The current legislation provides same-sex couples with equal rights to heterosexuals with regards to pensions and alimony – but the law for instance continues to ban adoption. It also does not allow civil partnership ceremonies at the civil registry office, where heterosexual couples can marry.

Yet Graupner is up against strong resistance. The country’s conservative party – the Austrian Peoples Party – only reluctantly agreed to the civil partnership in the first place. The conservatives insists that significant differences between the two forms of union must remain.

Ah!  Since we’re unequal, we’re worthy of a law-suit because you’re not unequal-enough under federal law?

The entire design is hysterical.

The Catholic Church isn’t amused by the entire epic.  Austria is like 900% Catholic and the entire subject of Church v. Law lays in question on the subject and it appears that the Church is on the Outs.

It sucks to be “Church”!

Teabagging for Jesus

February 14th, 2010 by thefruitfly

Teabagging: Ahh, a gay man’s favorite definition for a stupid Republican Another definition:
2. n. A conservative activist who is so ignorant that they protest against tax cuts (that benefit them) by throwing tea into a river.

And my personal favorite:

A misinformed, right-wing corporate media consumer who often fails to understand that BOTH major parties represent a corrupt plutocracy that steals from the middle class by taxing labor and profiting from corporate tax subsidies.

A teabagger also often fails to acknowledge that George W. Bush and his neo-conservative minions perpetrated one of the boldest and most egregious executive power grabs in the history of the United States. Furthermore, teabaggers mistakenly continue to blame a newly elected President Obama for all that ails the United States of America, based on a grossly flawed perception of reality (including latent racial prejudice) and despite the fact the U.S. economy collapsed on the previous administration’s watch.

Teabaggers are also known to base their misguided, right-wing-media-inspired beliefs about President Obama on stupid conspiracy theories about totalitarian takeovers, FEMA camps, etc., despite the fact these very same theories have been circulating around on the Internet for years, and were originally ascribed to neo-conservative cabalists at a time when Barack Obama had not even entered national politics. Teabaggers also are known to be particularly paranoid, xenophobic and intolerant, especially with regard to immigrants and anyone who isn’t white.

Additionally, teabaggers generally echo stupid myths about entitlement spending (it actually only accounts for about 1% of federal budget spending), have no idea that most poor people i…

Nancy Elliott (R-NH): Homophobe Describing “Gay Sex” Human-Poop Included

February 13th, 2010 by thefruitfly

Nancy Elliot (R-NH), a Michele Bachmann-wanna-be, describes “gay sex” in an effort to win the Barf-Contest:

New Hampshire State Rep. Nancy Elliott (R) shared some of her views about anal sex at a recent executive session to repeal same-sex marriage. Rep. Elliott does not discuss the bill in the clip below, but she does share her views, extensively and graphically, on anal sex.

“We’re talking about taking the penis of one man and putting it in the rectum of another man and wriggling it around in excrement. ” Rep. Elliott said. “And you have to think, I’m not sure, would I allow that to be done to me?”

YouTube FruitFly's link to

After someone behind the camera pleaded with her to get back to the topic at hand, she replied:

Rep. Elliott, however, was undeterred. “They are now teaching it in the public school. They are showing our fifth graders how they can actually perform this kind of sex… They are saying this is something that you, as a 5th grader, may want to try.”

Elliott got it all wrong… In lieu of “gay sex and poop”, she forgot the pleasures of “str8 sex”. You know: When a man puts his penis inside a woman’s vagina and wriggles around inside her urine.  …Because I can figure out that whole urine-stir fest by watching the Double-Mint Twins commercial or any  uneventful episode of a CBS soap-opera.

How does she know what two men do in their bedrooms?  What level of perversion does the GOP stoop before we begin rounding them up as sexual predators?

To my friend Brad who sent me the YouTube: “Thanks hombre… I needed that video like I needed a hole in the head.  Err… Wait: “I needed that video like I needed a Roto-Rooter in my muffler-pipe.”

If we’re going to celebrate the New Year – we may as well celebrate it like hetero-white homophobes!

PAT ROBERTSON: And, you know, Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon III and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, “We will serve you if you will get us free from the French.” True story. And so, the devil said, “OK, it’s a deal.”

And they kicked the French out. You know, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free. But ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after the other. Desperately poor. That island of Hispaniola is one island. It’s cut down the middle. On the one side is Haiti; on the other side is the Dominican Republic. Dominican Republic is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, et cetera. Haiti is in desperate poverty. Same island. They need to have and we need to pray for them a great turning to God. And out of this tragedy, I’m optimistic something good may come. But right now, we’re helping the suffering people, and the suffering is unimaginable.

KRISTI WATTS (co-douche bag): Absolutely, Pat.

Absolutely, Pat.

Haitian people deserved this?

Seriously?

Stunning: Liebermann Defends Obama

January 11th, 2010 by thefruitfly

From Huffington:

Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) offered a rare defense of Barack Obama on Sunday — and an even rarer rebuke of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) — after the Arizona Republican accused the president of “leading an extreme left-wing crusade to bankrupt America.”

In what was a reversal of the role he played during the presidential campaign — when he stumped on McCain’s behalf and spoke at the Republican convention — Lieberman said he disagreed with the anti-Obama radio ads McCain is running in his home state.

“You know every now and then John McCain and I disagree sometimes, and that’s one of the cases,” Lieberman said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “So I don’t agree with that. I think the president understands the importance of bringing our government back into balance. Look he came in, in a most difficult economic time, inheriting a national debt that had doubled in the preceding eight years. I think you are going to hear from the president in the State of a Union, maybe earlier, about some tough medicine for our economy. We need it and I hope that there will be bipartisan support in Congress for doing that.”

I love it when Republicans New England douche-bags throw boomerangs into American politics.   Especially when they’re cashing in on future 2012 presidential campaigns.  Kudos to Lieberman for playing an Ace that he has zero-ownership.

Pretending to befriend Obama is nothing short of a sock-puppet of stupidity.  But we already knew that, of course.
